Which AI video models does ChatCut have?

Seedance 2.5, Seedance 2.0, Seedance 2.0 Fast and mini, Gemini Omni, MiniMax H3 and H3 Max, and Kling 3.0 and 4.0. Image models are GPT Image 2.5, GPT Image 2 and Nano Banana. Video generation needs a paid plan.

Is ChatCut free?

Can I use ChatCut from Claude Code or Codex?

Yes. The ChatCut plugin runs in Claude Code and the Codex app, and ChatCut Desktop connects Claude Code, Codex and other agents through a local MCP server. Your agent edits the real timeline, which you can keep adjusting by hand.

How the plugin works

Can I finish a ChatCut edit in another editor?

Yes. ChatCut exports XML timelines for Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, and ChatCut Desktop also exports editable CapCut drafts. It does not export Final Cut Pro XML (FCPXML).
